The building looked very cool from the outside with this small windows in wood and the building in raw concrete - stylish. The location is just perfect in the middle of Taitung and everything needed in walking distance (7/11, family mart, breakfast, dinner and shopping). The receptionist was very nice and directly offered us the keys to our room although we had been much earlier than the actual check-in time. He also introduced us to the free bicycles that the hotel is offering as well as the general facilities of the hotel such as a water dispenser. We had a room in Japanese style for 3 nights which was really nice and we then extended our stay by one night and got a standard double room which was also fine! The rooms have been very clean and nicely styled! Overall I have to say the staff was exceptional, very professional and excellent in what they are doing, we always felt welcomed and they arranged everything to our highest expectations! E.g. ferry trip to green island or taxis
