The Valley Tayrona hostel- A unique social jungle hostel heeft een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een terras en een bar in El Zaino. Everything was clean. The whole place is perfectly designed for the customer in the middle of the nature. As its name states, this is a unique nature experience.

La Finca Lorena Tayrona ligt in El Zaino en heeft een tuin, een terras, een bar, en gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Everything. The place is beautiful, it’s super clean, new and very very cosy. The common area is amazing, with hammocks and the nice garden. The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need to cook. And the lady Ruth at the reception was really lovely with me during my stay. Even if you have to walk 10 min from the main road, it worth is as the place is really quiet at night and you don’t hear the noise from the road. Unfortunately I could stayed only one night but I would have loved to stay longer.

The fantastic tropical garden, the swimming pool. The friendliness of the staff. The area to eat with the hammocks. Healthy food .

Bohemia Beach ligt in Guachaca, op 15 minuten van Tayrona Park, en biedt accommodatie, een restaurant, een zwembad, een bar en een privéstrand. WiFi is gratis. Kind staff, great value, amazing pool, right at the beach, good and sufficient amenities. Would recommend booking the 10 bed jungle room rather than the one with 8 beds. A place for a peaceful stay but there are several other hostels in walking distance that you can go to for a party. Still, easy to meet other travelers!

Ecolodge Playa Brava Teyumakke biedt accommodatie in Santa Marta. De accommodatie heeft een eigen restaurant. Bij dit hostel kunt u tafeltennissen. De locatie is fantastisch, wat een prachtige en bijzondere plek. Het eten is erg goed. We hebben veel slechte ervaringen met restaurants en ontbijtjes in de omgeving, maar het eten hier is erg lekker (wel ook relatief aan de prijzige kant, 50.000 voor avondeten, maar dat is ook logisch vanwege de afgelegen locatie). De route ernaartoe via ingang Cabazo is erg pittig (helemaal niet druk, dus wel aanrader om deze route te nemen). Wij gingen met paarden terug (120.000 per persoon), dat was leuk! Als je dit park wil bezoeken en goed te been bent dan is deze plek het heel erg waard!!

Posada Ecoturistica Palmares Del Rio ligt in Guachaca, op 41 km van Santa Marta en op 38 km van Taganga. Voor een drankje kunt u terecht in de eigen bar. Good place to chill and be close to the nature. The owner is so sweet. The food there is amazing, cooked with love and care like from grandmother. All rooms have a place to work and nice views. Also we enjoyed the river so much! And waterfalls in neighborhood. We could also make a laundry. We extended our stay because it was so good. Highly recommend. Place with a people with beautiful hearts. 😊👌✨

La Ponderosa Reserve is gelegen in Buritaca en heeft een tuin, een restaurant, een bar, en gratis WiFi. Het hostel heeft een privéstrand. One of the best places I have ever stayed. Isolated paradise up in the mountains, definitely worth the 40 minutes Moto taxi. The fact it's a sustainable, zero waste, permaculture project makes your stay so much more meaningful. The communal meals have a great vibe and the food it's is absolutely incredible. Beautiful little river beach and so many adorable animals - dogs, cats, pigs, Barbara the goat. Good activities to do as well: tubing, permaculture tour, trip to indigenous village. Other guests were so lovely as the place attracts great people. I kept extending my stay and ended up there for ten days. 10/10 would recommend.

Sierra Tayrona hostel ligt in El Zaino, op 47 km van Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. The location was amazing. Next to the river & wildlife. The hut slept really good. Great mosquito protection. Great bed. Its almost you sleep outside but you got enough privacy. Simba the cat and Gardian the dog were really cute and the owner can cook very well. The keyword is tranquillo. Don’t expect much, expect nature and a really great night rest. Even if you love luxurious places you can love this place (ill do). We extended our stay for another day only to relax in the hostel and swim in the river. We used the jacuzzi. In the night you hear crickets and frogs singing and the sound of the river and sometimes you hear monkeys. It’s awesome. If you gonna eat. Don’t go to tiki hut as the pizza’s made us sick.
